Mini cake with cinnamon and apples
Cinnamon and apple. A perfect combination creating such coziness and pleasant moments that I can’t miss this splendor of the senses. I present you my next addition with favorite delicacies.
Necessary products:
3 eggs
200 g of flour
100 g powdered sugar
100 ml. oil
1 p. baking powder with vanilla / from 10 g /,
pure oil to spread on the pan
3 apples
1/2 tsp. cinnamon, sugar for sprinkling
For the glaze:
1/2 cup sour cream
powdered sugar to taste
optional decoration
Method of preparation:
Beat the eggs until their volume doubles. Add the powdered sugar and the vanilla baking powder mixture.
After beating them, add the oil and sifted flour. Finely chop the walnuts and add them to the mixture. Stir with a wooden spatula or whatever you have on hand in a clockwise direction. Follow the rule: stirring the cake mixture is only in one direction.
In another bowl, cut the apples into cubes and mix them with the cinnamon and sugar.
Prepare the shape or shapes with a drop ring as I did, as follows:
When drop-ring molds are used, the board often does not seal the bottom enough and if the mixture is more liquid it spills. To avoid this unpleasant moment, cut a piece of baking paper that is two fingers wider than the form and place it on the bottom, watching its edges come out of it. Tighten with the ring. Excess paper that is obtained is removed with scissors.
Grease the inside of the form with oil and pour some of the apples on the bottom. Pour the cake mixture on top and bake at 180 degrees until dry.
I decorated with sour cream, banana and colored sticks. Enjoy your meal.
