COOKED BEANS WITH MEATBALLS

A Bulgarian and traditional main course

NECESSARY PRODUCTS:

500г. ripe bean
1 onion
1 tomato
2 pcs. dried peppers
3 cloves garlic
2tbsp flour
1tbsp paprika
salt, oil, mint

Method of preparation:

Soak the beans overnight in cold water.
Boil it and after boiling change its water. Pour a new one and add onion and oil.
When it is almost ready, add the garlic, dried peppers, chopped tomatoes, cook for another 10 minutes.

Mix the minced meat with the finely chopped onion, pepper, egg, breadcrumbs and spices, form small meatballs and fry them.

Fry the flour with 1 tbsp. red pepper and dilute with bean water.
Add the mixture to the beans.

Add the meatballs to the bean pot.

Stir, simmer for another 5 minutes and remove from the heat. Sprinkle the dish with mint or peeled.
