Stuffed plums with cream cheese

Stuffed plums with cream cheese

Since we are in the season of prunes, I decided to prepare something easy, tasty and prepared for about 15 minutes. I was wondering in what category to attach them, because they can be eaten as a dessert or used as an appetizer to white wine.

There are countless recipes for stuffed prunes on the Internet. I made mine with fresh fruit, because I use the dried ones outside the atypical season.

While I was making them, I remembered the acorns, which were baked in a metal press with a long handle and then waited to cool and filled with cream. They were left to soften for a day, like the zucchini – their preparation is a long process, and eating in seconds.

Well, this may be the modern version, semi-healthy and not so whimsical to prepare.

Necessary products:

5 prunes
1tbsp cream cheese
2tbsp raw walnuts
1 packet of vanilla
powdered sugar to taste

Method of preparation:

Cut the walnuts into larger pieces with a knife and mix them with the above products in a bowl.
Cut the plums in half lengthwise and remove the stones.
Spread each one with the mixture and “close” with the other half of the fruit.

Put them in separate silicone muffins to shape and

Bake at 200 degrees until ready. I check with a toothpick. If it enters the fruit freely, it means that the plums are baked. In order not to get sour, it is good to use hard plums.

To finish the article, I will share my impressions after I tried my “acorns” – a delicate texture with a taste of vanilla and a slightly sour aftertaste giving a fresh finish.
